Vent Valve Inspection

Place the vent valve to the direction for installation, check that air can pass through the vent valve by blowing air into the port by mouth. (Fig 1)
Place the vent valve is upside down, check that amount of air is reduced or there is some feeling of resistance if blowing air into the port by mouth. (Fig 2)
NOTE: Never inhale the air from the Vent Valve during the Vent Valve inspection

Has a problem been found?
YES
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "FUEL TANK CAP INSPECTION "
