Power Circuit Inspection

  1. IG "OFF". Disconnect CKPS connector.
  2. IG "ON".
  3. Measure voltage between power terminal of CKPS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 5 V

  4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Check for a open in the power supply circuit between the main relay and the CKPS. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
