Power Circuit Inspection

■ Check voltage 

1. IG "OFF". Disconnect Stop Lamp Switch connector.
2. Measure voltage between Brake Light Switch terminal and chassis ground.
3. Measure voltage between Brake Test Switch terminal and chassis ground.
4. IG "ON".
5. Measure voltage between Brake Light Switch terminal and chassis ground.
6. Measure voltage between Brake Test Switch terminal and chassis ground.

   Specification: 

   Test Condition	Brake Test Switch	Brake Light Switch
   IG ON	Battery Voltage	Battery voltage
   IG OFF	Approx. 0 V	Battery Voltage

7. Is the measured voltage within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " as follows.

   NO 

   • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
