Fuel pump control Circuit Inspection

■ Open check
- IG "OFF". Disconnect FPCM, fuel pump connector.
- Measure each harnesses' resistance of fuel pump control circuit (+,-) between FPCM and fuel pump harness connector.
Specification: Below 1 Ω
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "Short to power check" procedure below.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
■ Short check
- IG "OFF". Disconnect FPCM, fuel pump connector.
- Measure the resistance between + terminal and - terminal of fuel pump harness connector.
Specification: Infinite
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "SYSTEM INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
