Signal Circuit Inspection

- Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Engine "ON".
- Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "Engine speed, Input speed sensor (PG-A), Output speed sensor (PG-B) and Gear position" parameter used select option.
- Engine speed up to about 2000rpm and check Input speed (PG-A) & Output speed (PG-B) are within specific at 4th speed of gear.
Specification:
Output speed>(input speed+200rpm)/4th. gear ratio
Output speed<(input speed-200rpm)/4th. gear ratio
- Are measured Input speed (PG-A) & Output speed (PG-B) within specific?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check there are electrical noise at Input/output speed and Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
