Reed Switch
Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between reed switch terminals while rotating speedometer cable. Ohmmeter reading should alternate between continuity and no continuity as cable is rotated.
