Preliminary Procedure: Disconnect the steering shaft coupling from the upper intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Steering Shaft Coupling Replacement .
1	Steering Column Seal Nut (Qty: 3) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Steering Column Seal Tip: A small amount of lubricant in the steering column seal may aid with installation.
