Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement

Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure: Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Cadillac) or Knee Bolster Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
1	Tilt Lever Tip: Remove the tilt lever by pulling outward.
2	Upper Steering Column Trim Cover
3	NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. Lower Steering Column Trim CoverTip: If equipped, remove the 2 lower trim cover to upper trim cover screws. Install 2 lower trim cover screws if damage exists to the trim cover locking features. Tighten: Tighten the trim cover screws to 3 N.m (27 Lb in).
