Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  2. Roll back the seal on the shift lever until the TORX® head shift lever screw is exposed.
  3. Fig 1: Locating Shift Lever & Screw

  4. Remove the TORX® head shift lever screw.
  5. Disconnect the shift lever electrical connector.
  6. Remove the shift lever from the steering column.
