Preliminary Procedure: Remove rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (All Utility, Cadillac ESV) or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Avalanche, Cadillac EXT) .
1	Rear Impact Bar Bolts (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
2	Rear Impact Bar Bolts (Qty: 6) Tighten: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
3	Rear Bumper Impact Bar Tip: Disconnect any electrical connectors before attempting removal.
