Lift Gate Replacement

Lift Gate Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the strut rods. Refer to Lift Gate Strut Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Door Upper .
  3. Disconnect the liftgate actuator rod. Refer to Lift Gate Actuator Rod Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
1 Liftgate Body Side Hinge Nuts (Qty: 4)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  25 N.m (18 lb ft)

2 Liftgate Assembly
Tip:  Calibrate the power liftgate. Refer to Lift Gate Calibration Procedure .
