Hood Replacement

Hood Replacement

CAUTION: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the hood strut rod. Refer to Hood Strut Replacement . Remove the air inlet panel end panels. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
1	Hood Bolts (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Hood Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the hood strut rod. Refer to Hood Strut Replacement .
Remove the air inlet panel end panels. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .

Hood Bolts (Qty: 2)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
