Front Fender Center Rear Upper Molding Insert Replacement (Escalade)

Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove either the LF or RF wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement . Release the 5 integral retainers from the inner fender panel. NOTE: Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Notice . Release the adhesive tape from each end of the center bar on the molding. Using a mixture of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water, remove any adhesive residue prior to installing the new fender molding insert. Dry the fender panel with a clean dry towel.
1	Front Center Rear Upper Fender Molding Insert Tip: The part and surface should be 21°C (70°F) prior to installation. The vehicle should remain 21°C (70°F) for one hour after assembly to allow adhesive to develop sufficient bond strength. Press the molding inward to secure the 5 integral retainers and the adhesive tape to the fender panel.
