NOTE:
There are first and second design input and output speed sensor wiring harness clips. First design clips are silver and are used with first design speed sensor assemblies. Second design clips have a black oxide coating and are used with second design speed sensor assemblies. Inspect the clips for damage and replace with the same color clip if necessary.
NOTE:
For first design output shaft assemblies, refer to Output Shaft Assemble (6L80/6L90) , or Output Shaft Disassemble (6L80/6L90) . For second design output shaft assemblies (output internal gear assembly), refer to Output Internal Gear Disassemble (6L80/6L90) , or Output Carrier to Output Internal Gear Assemble (6L80/6L90) . |
| 2 | A/Trans Input and Output Speed Sensor Assembly - Model Dependent
CAUTION:
There are first and second design input and output speed sensor assemblies. Second design speed sensor assemblies can be identified by an offset step at the bottom of the speed sensor. First design speed sensor assemblies must be used with first design output shaft assemblies and second design speed sensor assemblies must be used with second design output shaft assemblies (output internal gear assembly). Failure to do so may cause damage to the transmission.
