Auxiliary Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement (Behr)

CAUTION: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module. Preliminary Procedures Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) . Reposition auxiliary HVAC module inward to gain access to the temperature door actuator. Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature actuator (2).
1	Temperature Door Actuator Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (16 lb in)
2	Auxiliary Temperature Door Actuator Procedure Re-calibrate the air temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) .
Reposition auxiliary HVAC module inward to gain access to the temperature door actuator.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature actuator (2).

Temperature Door Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
2.5 N.m (16 lb in)

Re-calibrate the air temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
