Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral and Longitudinal Accelerometer Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) , Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) . Pull back the carpet to gain access to the yaw sensor. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
1	Yaw Rate Sensor Nut (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 7 N.m (62 lb in)
2	Yaw Rate Sensor Procedure After the installation is complete, install a scan tool to the vehicle. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .

Remove the passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) , Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) .
Pull back the carpet to gain access to the yaw sensor.
Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.

Yaw Rate Sensor Nut (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
7 N.m (62 lb in)

Procedure

After the installation is complete, install a scan tool to the vehicle.
Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor.
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
