Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement (Upper)

Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement (Upper)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase) .
  2. Remove the upper air temperature sensor, if equipped.
1 Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Outlet Duct Upper Screw (Qty: 1)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:

Release the retainer on body side of the air duct.


Tighten 
1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2 Upper Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Outlet Duct
Procedure 
Carefully slide the auxiliary air conditioning air outlet duct up to the headliner, until the bottom edge of the duct is above the air distributor duct.
NOTE:

The duct in headliner can be easily torn if too much force is applied on the auxiliary air conditioning air outlet duct, when inserting the upper auxiliary air conditioning air outlet duct into the headliner.
