3rd Row Seat Back Latch Cable with Pull Handle Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to 3rd Row Seat Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL) , 3rd Row Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade) .
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion trim covers. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Panel Replacement (AS3) , Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Panel Replacement (AW2) .
1 Rear Seat Latch Release Handle
Refer to Rear Seat Latch Release Handle Replacement (Rear No. 2) .
2 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch Nut (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
3 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
4 Rear Seat No. 2 Back Cushion Latch
TIP:  Release the latch cables from the seat, note the locations for installation.
