Preliminary Procedure Remove rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Avalanche, Cadillac EXT) , Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (All Utility, Cadillac ESV) , Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Escalade Premium) .
1	Rear Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
2	Rear Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 6) Tighten 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
3	Rear Bumper Impact Bar TIP: Disconnect any electrical connectors before attempting removal.
