Preliminary Procedures Fold the seat forward. Remove the rear seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) , Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) , Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) .
1	Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . TIP: The 60 percent seat is shown, the 40 percent seat is similar. Tighten 3 N.m (25 lb in)
2	Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Assembly Disconnect the electrical connector. Disconnect the actuator cable assembly.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

TIP: The 60 percent seat is shown, the 40 percent seat is similar.
Tighten
3 N.m (25 lb in)

Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Assembly

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disconnect the actuator cable assembly.
