Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Replacement (with Split Bench Seat)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Fold the seat forward.
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) , Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) , Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) .
1 Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


TIP:  The 60 percent seat is shown, the 40 percent seat is similar.
Tighten 
3 N.m (25 lb in)
2 Rear Seat Recliner Actuator Assembly
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the actuator cable assembly.
