Front Fender Replacement - Left Side

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Cadillac Escalade) , Headlamp Replacement (Tahoe, Avalanche) , Headlamp Replacement (Chevrolet Tahoe Two-mode Hybrid) , Headlamp Replacement (Escalade PLATINUM) , Headlamp Replacement (Non HID) , Headlamp Replacement (Yukon) , Headlamp Replacement (GMC Yukon Two-mode Hybrid) .
  2. Remove the radiator support diagonal brace. Refer to Radiator Support Diagonal Brace Replacement .
  3. Remove the upper rear fender bracket. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Bracket Replacement .
  4. Remove the auxiliary battery tray. Refer to Auxiliary Battery Tray Replacement
  5. Remove the left hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  6. Remove the left hood open assist spring. Refer to Hood Open Assist Spring Replacement .
  7. Remove the underhood electrical center/junction block. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement .
  8. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side .
1 Fender Mounting Bolt (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2 Fender Mounting Bolt (Qty: 3)
Tighten 
30 N.m (22 lb ft)
Procedure 
Apply threadlock compound to the bolts.
3 Fender Mounting Clip (Qty: 3)
4 Fender Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
5 Fender Assembly
TIP:  Transfer any necessary additional parts as needed.
