Removal Procedure

  1. Fold down the rear seat.
  2. Remove the rear removable glass panel.
  3. Remove the midgate. Refer to Midgate Replacement .

  5. Remove the push-in retainer (1).
  6. Starting from one end, remove the weatherstrip from the vehicle.
  7. Clean all mating surfaces for the weatherstrip using a lint-free cloth with Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) Naptha or a 50/50 mixture, by volume, of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water to remove left over adhesive residue.
