Quarter Panel Upper Applique Replacement (Tahoe)

Quarter Panel Upper Applique Replacement (Tahoe)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate and/or rear compartment doors to access the applique panel.
  2. Remove the tail lamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement (Avalanche) , Tail Lamp Replacement (Cadillac) , Tail Lamp Replacement (Chevrolet Tahoe Two-Mode Hybrid) , Tail Lamp Replacement (GMC Yukon Two-Mode Hybrid) , Tail Lamp Replacement (Tahoe, Yukon) .
1 Quarter Panel Upper Back Body Opening Frame Retainer (Qty: 2)
2 Quarter Panel Applique Attaching Finger (Qty: 6)
3 Quarter Panel Applique Screws (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
4 Rear Quarter Panel Upper Applique
TIP:  Upon installation, ensure the back body panel retainers are secure.
  1. Align the outboard attaching fingers to the 3 slots in the quarter panel sheet metal. (Refer to appropriate sequence.)
  2. Push the applique into position until fully seated.
  3. Ensure all the retainers are seated properly.
  4. Align the applique screw holes to the body retainers.
  5. Secure the screws.

Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
