Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Power)

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution . Preliminary Procedures Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Position the rear door window approximately half way down in the door. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) . Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1	Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 5) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving. Loosen the 2 bolts that attach the window to the window regulator. Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Rear Side Door Window Regulator Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. Transfer the power window motor to the new regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement (Power) .

Preliminary Procedures

Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Position the rear door window approximately half way down in the door.
Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) .
Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 5)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip:

Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving.
Loosen the 2 bolts that attach the window to the window regulator.

Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)

Rear Side Door Window Regulator
Tip:

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Transfer the power window motor to the new regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement (Power) .
