Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (All Utility, Cadillac ESV)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the rear wheelhouse inner panel extensions. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement (RPO X88 Chevrolet, RPO O88 GMC) or Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement (RPO HP2) .
1 Rear Fascia Bolt (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Rear Fascia Plastic Bolt (Qty: 3)

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear object detection sensor harness located in the right end of the fascia and any other electrical connectors before attempting removal.
  2. Reach between the fascia and the rear quarter panel to loosen the bolts. DO NOT pull on the fascia when reaching to loosen the bolts.

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

3 Rear Fascia Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

4 Rear Fascia Plastic Retainer (Qty: 2)
5 Fascia Assembly
Tip:  If replacing the Z-71 fascia, new fender flare holes will need to be drilled as needed.
