Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2007 GMC Yukon XL, 2007 GMC Yukon, 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the power steering cooler (1) to the radiator support.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts retaining the power steering cooler to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Connect the power steering cooler hose (5) to the power steering pump (2) and reposition the clamp.
- Connect the power steering outlet gear hose (3) to the power steering gear (1) and reposition the clamp.
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
- Inspect all the hose connections for leaks.
- Install the radiator grille reinforcement. Refer to Support Replacement - Radiator Grille Reinforcement .
- Install the radiator air baffle and deflector-upper. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Cadillac) or Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (Yukon) .
- Install the front grille. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement (Suburban) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Yukon) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Escalade) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Tahoe Z71) .
