Installation Procedures

  1. With an assistant, align the hinge to the alignment marks made with the grease pencil.
    2. Fig 1: Vehicle Hinge Fasteners

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the hinge to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the hinge to the door.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Adjust the door if necessary. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment .
