Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the underbody shields. Refer to Catalytic Converter Guard Replacement .
  3. Support the front differential.

  4. Remove the differential mounting nut, bolt, and washer. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
    5. Fig 2: Crossmember (Lower Control Arm)

  5. Remove the crossmember mounting bolts.
  6. Remove the crossmember from the vehicle.
