Installation Procedure

  1. Install the quarter window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Encapsulated Stationary Windows .
    2. Fig 1: Quarter Window

  2. Ensure the pinchweld is primed properly.
  3. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  4. Reposition the midgate window weatherstrip to the pinchweld flange.
  5. Install the rear lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV) or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT) .
  6. Close the midgate.
  7. Install the rear header garnish molding. Refer to Roof Rear Header Garnish Molding Replacement .
  8. Install the rear sail panel molding. Refer to Sail Panel Molding Replacement (Left Side) .
