Installation Procedure

  1. Attach the mechanics wire or string, used during removal, to the replacement antenna base/cable (2).
  2. Seat the body pass through grommet.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the antenna base screws (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 7.5 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Connect the cable to the I/P extension cable.
  5. Install the right body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  6. Install the intake air duct.
  7. Install the intake air duct screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  8. Install the antenna mast.
  9. Seat the antenna mast boot.
