Valve Rocker Arm and Push Rod Removal

    IMPORTANT: Place the valve rocker arms, valve pushrods, and pivot support, in a rack so they can be installed in the same location from which they were removed.
  1. On engines with offset intake rocker arms (1), remove the valve rocker arm bolts and valve rocker arms - engine RPOs LY6, L94, L96, and L9H.

    IMPORTANT: Place the valve rocker arms, valve pushrods, and pivot support, in a rack so they can be installed in the same location from which they were removed.
  3. On engines without offset rocker arms (1), remove the rocker arm bolts and valve rocker arms - engine RPOs L20, LMG and LC9.

  5. Remove the valve rocker arm pivot support.

  7. Remove the pushrods.
