DTC B1FB3  : Left rear heater not heating (rear seat)

DTC (Rear Seat Heater Control Unit)

NOTE: 

• If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A .
• The seat heater control unit does not turn on the seat heater until the seat core temperature is 85°ees or less. Make sure the seat core temperature is below 85°ees before troubleshooting.

1. Problem verification

   -1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   -2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode.

   -3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   B1FB3 Left rear heater not heating (rear seat)

   Is DTC B1FB3 indicated?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

2. DTC check

   -1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   B1FA0 Left rear heater thermistor circuit open (rear seat)
   B1FA1 Left rear heater thermistor circuit short (rear seat)
   B1FAB Left rear heater current abnormal high (rear seat)
   B1FAC Left rear heater current abnormal low (rear seat)

   Are DTCs B1FA0, B1FA1, B1FAB, and/or B1FAC indicated?

   YES 

   Go to DTC B1FA0 troubleshooting .

   YES 

   Go to DTC B1FA1 troubleshooting .

   YES 

   Go to DTC B1FAB troubleshooting .

   YES 

   Go to DTC B1FAC troubleshooting .

   NO 

   Replace the left rear seat-back heater .
