Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) Symptom Troubleshooting Index

Symptom  Diagnostic procedure  Also check for
LKAS indicator (on the MID) does not come on Symptom troubleshooting .  
LKAS indicator (on the MID) does not go off, and no DTCs are stored NOTE:  If any of the CAN communication failure DTC is indicated in another system, troubleshoot the DTC first.
  • Check for an open or a short in the F-CAN circuit;
    • -

      Between the gauge control module and the CAN gateway (F-CAN D_H, F-CAN D_L)

    • -

      Between the millimeter wave radar and the CAN gateway (F-CAN C_H, F-CAN C_L)

  • Check the millimeter wave radar power circuit (IG1_OPTION).
  • Check the millimeter wave radar ground circuit (GND).
  • Do to the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
