DTC U0047-00  : Millimeter Wave Radar Local-CAN Malfunction (BUS-OFF)

DTC U0047-F1  : Multipurpose Camera Unit Local-CAN Malfunction

DTC U12B7-00  : Millimeter Wave Radar Local-CAN Malfunction

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• If the transmitting control unit is malfunctioning, a DTC may be recorded. According to the recorded DTC, inspect the power circuits and ground circuits of the millimeter wave radar or the multipurpose camera unit.
• The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index .

DTC (IDAS)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 6 seconds.

   -5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC U0047-00, U0047-F1, or U12B7-00 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the millimeter wave radar and the multipurpose camera unit.

2. Open wire check (ACC-CAN_H line, ACC-CAN_L line)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Disconnect the following connectors.

   Millimeter wave radar 8P connector

   Multipurpose camera unit 12P connector

   -3. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.

   Is there 1.0 Ω or less?

   YES 

   Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the millimeter wave radar and the multipurpose camera unit. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the millimeter wave radar or the multipurpose camera unit .

   NO 

   Repair an open in the ACC-CAN_H wire or the ACC-CAN_L wire between the millimeter wave radar and the multipurpose camera unit.
