DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P1D64 Collision Detection Signal Circuit Is DTC P1D64 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- SRS indicator check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then wait for 10 seconds.
-2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator comes on.
Does the SRS indicator come on?
YES
NO
Go to step 3.
- Determine possible failure area (SRS unit, CDS line)
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure .
-3. Wait at least 3 minutes.
-4. Disconnect the following connector.
SRS unit connector A (39P) -5. Do the 12 volt battery terminal reconnection procedure .
-6. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-7. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle ON mode SRS unit connector A (39P): disconnected Test point 1 SRS unit connector A (39P) No. 1 Test point 2 Body ground Is there about 5.0 V?
YES
The CDS wire is OK. Faulty SRS unit or poor connection at SRS unit connector A (39P) and the SRS unit; check the connection. If the connection is OK, replace the SRS unit .
