DTC P1673 : IGHLD Relay Circuit

DTC (Electric Powertrain)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, and wait 10 seconds.
-4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and wait 10 seconds.
-5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P1673 IGHLD Relay Circuit Is DTC P1673 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- Fuse check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Check the following fuse.
Fuse No. A10 Is the fuse OK?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
Replace the No. A10 fuse. Also check for a short to ground on the No. A10 fuse circuit if needed.
- IGHLD relay circuit check
-1. Remove the service plug and the IPU cover .
-2. Remove the IGHLD1 relay .
-3. Test the IGHLD1 relay .
Is the relay OK?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Replace the IGHLD1 relay.
- Shorted wire check (IGHLD/IG_HOLD1_RLY_CL- line)
-1. Remove the service plug and the IPU cover .
-2. Disconnect the following connector.
Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) -3. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode IGHLD1 relay: disconnected Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P): disconnected Test point 1 Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) No. 20 Test point 2 Body ground Is there 1 MΩ or more?
YES
Go to step 5.
NO
Repair a short in the IGHLD/IG_HOLD1_RLY_CL- wire between the battery condition monitor module (E20) and the IGHLD1 relay.
- Open wire check (IGHLD/IG_HOLD1_RLY_CL- line)
-1. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode IGHLD1 relay: disconnected Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P): disconnected Test point 1 Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) No. 20 Test point 2 IGHLD1 relay 4P socket (female terminals) No. 4: Is there 1.0 Ω or less?
YES
Go to step 6.
NO
Repair an open in the IGHLD/IG_HOLD1_RLY_CL- wire between the battery condition monitor module (E20) and the IGHLD relay.
- Open wire check (IGAMONI/IGA line)
-1. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode IGHLD1 relay: disconnected Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P): disconnected Test point 1 Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) No. 23 Test point 2 IGHLD1 relay 4P socket (female terminals) No. 2: Is there 1.0 Ω or less?
YES
The IGAMONI/IGA wire is OK. Replace the battery condition monitor module .
NO
Repair an open in the IGAMONI/IGA wire between the battery condition monitor module (E23) and the IGHLD relay.
