DTC P0DE6 : HV Battery Pack Voltage Low
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- If the DTC cannot be cleared, replace the battery pack .

DTC (Electric Powertrain)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and wait for 10 seconds.
NOTE: Do not turn the vehicle to the READY TO DRIVE mode.
-5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P0DE6 HV Battery Pack Voltage Low Is DTC P0DE6 indicated?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure. The system is OK at this time. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- Check battery module replacing history
-1. Check the sticker (A) on the left front door jamb area. If the vehicle has been replaced the battery module once already, the sticker is attached.
Is the sticker attached?
YES
NO
Go to step 3.
- Identify failure battery module:NOTE:
- This step is the procedure for ordering a new replacement battery module.
- It is very important to install the new replacement module as soon as possible after it arrives at the dealership. When the module arrived, replace it at once.
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Select the HV Battery Diagnosis in the System Selection Menu of ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN with the HDS, then select the Current Battery Data, and follow the screen prompts.
NOTE: Select the Battery Type 2. (18Cell - 18Cell - 18Cell - 18Cell)
-3. Identify abnormal battery modules with the HDS.
NOTE: Print the results of the function test.
Is there only one abnormal battery module?
YES
Replace the abnormally determined battery module and battery condition monitor module . Do the following procedures and keep the vehicle until the battery module arrives at the dealership. To prevent changing the high-voltage battery, do not set to READY TO DRIVE during keeping the vehicle.
- Enter the neutral position holding mode .
- Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and continue the neutral position holding mode.
- Remove the service plug .
