DTC P0AFA : HV Battery System Voltage Low

DTC (Electric Powertrain)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P0AFA HV Battery System Voltage Low Is DTC P0AFA indicated?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- Fuse check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Check the following fuse.
Fuse No. E5 Is the fuse OK?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
Replace the No. E5 fuse. Also check for a short to ground on the No. E5 fuse circuit if needed.
- Relay check
-1. Remove the service plug and the IPU cover .
-2. Remove the IGHLDB relay .
-3. Test the IGHLDB relay .
Is the relay OK?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Replace the IGHLDB relay.
- Open wire check (+B_IMA1/+B_IGB line)
-1. Do the 12 volt battery terminal reconnection procedure .
-2. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode IGHLDB relay: disconnected Test point 1 IGHLDB relay 4P socket (female terminal) No. 2, No. 3: Test point 2 Body ground Is there battery voltage?
YES
Go to step 5.
NO
Repair an open in the +B_IMA1/+B_IGB wire between the No. E5 fuse and IGHLDB relay.
- Open wire check (IGHLDB line)
-1. Disconnect the following connector.
Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) -2. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P): disconnected IGHLDB relay: disconnected Test point 1 IGHLDB relay 4P socket (female terminal) No. 4: Test point 2 Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) No. 19 Is there 1.0 Ω or less?
YES
Go to step 6.
NO
Repair an open in the IGHLDB wire between IGHLDB relay and the battery condition monitor module (E19).
- Open wire check (IGB line)
-1. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P): disconnected IGHLDB relay: disconnected Test point 1 IGHLDB relay 4P socket (female terminal) No. 1: Test point 2 Battery condition monitor module connector E (32P) No. 2 Is there 1.0 Ω or less?
YES
The IGB wire is OK. Replace the battery condition monitor module .
NO
Repair an open in the IGB wire between IGHLDB relay and the battery condition monitor module (E2).
