- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Check the parameter(s) of the corresponding DTC below with the HDS.

The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- Determine possible failure area (short in TBATT circuit, others)
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Remove the service plug and the IPU cover .
-3. Disconnect the following connector.
Battery condition monitor module connector F (12P) -4. Measure the resistance between appropriate DTC's test points 1 and 2.

Go to step 3.

- Shorted wire check (TBATT line)
-1. Disconnect the following connector.
DTC P0A9D: High voltage battery module temperature sensor connector A (2P) DTC P0AC7: High voltage battery module temperature sensor connector B (2P) DTC P0ACC, P0AEA: High voltage battery module temperature sensor connector C (4P) -2. Measure the resistance between appropriate DTC's test points 1 and 2.
Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode DTC P0A9D: High voltage battery module temperature sensor connector A (2P) : disconnected DTC P0AC7: High voltage battery module temperature sensor connector B (2P) : disconnected DTC P0ACC, P0AEA: High voltage battery module temperature sensor connector C (4P) : disconnected Battery condition monitor module connector F (12P): disconnected DTC Test point 1 Test point 2 P0A9D (TBATT1) Battery condition monitor module connector F (12P) No. 1 Body ground P0AC7 (TBATT2) Battery condition monitor module connector F (12P) No. 7 P0ACC (TBATT3) Battery condition monitor module connector F (12P) No. 2 P0AEA (TBATT4) Battery condition monitor module connector F (12P) No. 8 Is there 1 MΩ or more?

Replace the following high voltage battery module temperature sensor .
- DTC P0A9D: High voltage battery module temperature sensor 1
- DTC P0AC7: High voltage battery module temperature sensor 2
- DTC P0ACC: High voltage battery module temperature sensor 3
- DTC P0AEA: High voltage battery module temperature sensor 4
NO
Repair a short in the TBATT wire between the battery condition monitor module and the high voltage battery module temperature sensor.
