Troubleshooting Circuits at the Battery Condition Monitor Module Connectors

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

2. Remove the service plug .

3. Remove the IPU cover .

NOTE:  When you troubleshoot the IPU on the vehicle, check for the ground cable (E) connection. If the cable was removed, you need to install it.

4. Connect one side of the patch cord terminals (A) to a commercially available digital multimeter (B), and connect the other side of the terminal (C) to a commercially available banana jack (Pomona Electronics Tool No. 3563 or equivalent) (D).
