DTC U012D (PGM-FI System)

DTC U012D  : EP-CAN Malfunction (PCM-Motor Control Module)

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• If DTC U012D is indicated alone, do the troubleshooting for DTC U12A5 using the on-board snapshot for U012D.
• If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC U012D, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for U012D.

    U12A5: Motor control module

DTC (PGM-FI)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC
   U012D EP-CAN Malfunction (PCM-Motor Control Module)
   U12A5 EP-CAN Malfunction (Motor Control Module-PCM)

   Are DTC U12A5 and U012D indicated at the same time?

   YES 

   Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

   NO 

   Go to the troubleshooting for DTC U12A5  using the on-board snapshot for DTC U012D.
