- Expansion Valve - Remove
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system .
2. Remove the expansion valve.
- Electric Heater Coolant Pump - Remove
2. Remove the engine undercover .
3. Remove the electric heater coolant pump.
Note for installation
- Make sure the hose clamp is positioned as shown.
- Make sure the hose clamp is in the position of its range shown.
- Make sure that there is no engine coolant leakage.

- Electric A/C Compressor - Remove
1. Before removing the electric A/C compressor, do the following procedures:
2. Remove the front engine undercover .
3. Remove the electric A/C compressor.
Note for installation
- Do not install the electric A/C compressor into a system unless you are completely sure that the system is free of contamination. Installing the electric A/C compressor into a contaminated system can result in premature electric A/C compressor failure. Refer to A/C System Contamination Inspection .
- To avoid contamination, do not return the oil to the container once dispensed, and never mix it with other refrigerant oils.
- If you are installing a new electric A/C compressor, you must calculate the amount of refrigerant oil to be removed from it . A new electric A/C compressor comes with a full charge of oil.
- Electric A/C Compressor Relief Valve - Remove
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system .
2. Remove the front engine undercover lid .
3. Remove the electric A/C compressor relief valve.
- A/C Condenser - Remove
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system .
2. Remove the shutter grille .
3. Remove the A/C condenser.
Note for installation If you are installing a new A/C condenser, add the appropriate refrigerant oil for the electric A/C compressor which installed to the vehicle .
- Desiccant - Remove
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system
2. Remove the A/C condenser.
3. Remove the desiccant.
Note for installation
- Install the desiccant as quickly as possible to prevent the system from absorbing moisture from the air.
- If you are installing a new desiccant, add the appropriate refrigerant oil for the electric A/C compressor which installed to the vehicle .
- Install the cap to the specified torque. It is made of resin and can be easily stripped.
- A/C Pressure Sensor - Remove
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system .
2. Remove the A/C pressure sensor.
NOTE: Hold the A/C pressure sensor block with a wrench to prevent damaging the discharge hose, then remove and install the A/C pressure sensor.
- Outside Air Temperature Sensor - Remove
2. Remove the outside air temperature sensor.
