LKAS Activation Indicator (On The Mid) Does Not Go Off

-1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function.

Gauges Control Module Self-Diagnostic Function (2016 2017 2018) or

Gauges Control Module Self-Diagnostic Function (2019 2020 2021) .

Is the gauge control module OK?

YES 

Go to step 2.

NO 

Replace the Gauge Control Module - Removal and Installation .

-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

- 2. Test the LKAS switch.

Test (2016 2017 2018) or

Test (2019 2020 2021) .

Is the switch OK?

YES 

Repair a short to ground in the wire between the ACC combination switch and the gauge control module.

NO 

Replace the ACC combination switch - Refer to:

LKAS Switch Removal and Installation, Test (2016 2017 2018) or

LKAS Switch Removal and Installation, Test (2019 2020 2021) .
