Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch B (3rd Clutch) Replacement

  1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, or apply the parking brake, block both rear wheels, and raise the front of the vehicle. Make sure it is securely supported.
  2. Remove the front splash shield (see FRONT SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT ).
  3. Remove the left front inner fender (see FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT ).
  4. Disconnect the transmission fluid pressure switch B (3rd clutch) connector, and remove transmission fluid pressure switch B (3rd clutch).

  5. Install a new transmission fluid pressure switch B (3rd clutch) with a new sealing washer (A), and tighten the switch.
  6. Check the connector for corrosion, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary, then connect the connector securely.
  7. Install the left front inner fender (see FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT ).
  8. Install the front splash shield (see FRONT SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT ).
