Front Passenger's Airbag Replacement: Removal
- Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure (see
12 VOLT BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION
), then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.
- Remove the glove box (see
PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
).
- Disconnect the front passenger's airbag inflator 4P connector (A).

- Remove the mounting bolts (B).
- Remove the blower unit (see
DUST AND POLLEN FILTER REPLACEMENT
).
- Remove the hooks (A) from the front passenger's airbag housing holes (B) of the dashboard upper panel.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
- Take care not to damage the front passenger's airbag housing holes of the dashboard upper panel.
- Take care not to damage the front passenger's airbag.

- Remove the other hooks (C) from the front passenger's airbag housing holes of the dashboard upper panel, then remove the front passenger's airbag from the dashboard upper panel.
