IMA Motor Housing Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the IMA motor rotor (see IMA MOTOR ROTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Remove the connector (A) and the harness clamps (B) from the bracket (C).

  3. Remove the bolt (D) and the IMA motor housing (E).
    NOTE: Set the dowel pins (F) in the IMA motor housing before installing the motor stator on the engine.
  4. Remove the bracket (A) from the IMA motor housing (B).

  5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Install the IMA motor rotor (see IMA MOTOR ROTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  7. Do the IMA motor rotor position calibration procedure (see IMA MOTOR ROTOR POSITION CALIBRATION  ).
