Rocker Arm Assembly Removal

  1. Remove the cylinder head cover (see CYLINDER HEAD COVER REMOVAL  )
  2. Loosen the rocker arm adjusting screws (A).

  3. Unscrew the rocker shaft mounting bolts two turns at a time, in the sequence below.
    NOTE: Bundle the intake rocker arms with rubber bands (A) to keep them together as a set.

  4. Remove the rocker shaft mounting bolts, then remove the rocker arm assembly (A).
