Hatch Latch Switch Test

  1. Open the hatch.
  2. Remove the hatch lower trim (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - HATCH AREA ).
  3. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the hatch latch (B).

  4. Check for continuity between the terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
    • There should be continuity with the hatch open.
    • There should be no continuity with the hatch closed.
  5. If the continuity is not as specified, faulty hatch latch switch; replace the hatch latch (see HATCH LATCH REPLACEMENT ).
