Special Tools Required

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ) and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before performing repairs or service.

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
  1. From under the dash, remove the clip (A) and detach the clip (B), release the hook (C) and stud (D), then remove the driver's heater lower cover (E) and passenger's heater lower cover (F).

  2. Open the beverage holder (A), and remove the screws.

  3. Remove the dashboard center lower cover (A).
    1. -1 Pull out the cover to release the clips (B, C).
    2. -2 Disconnect the seat heater connectors (D) and accessory socket connectors (E).

  4. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Replace any damaged clips.
    • Make sure the each connector is plugged in properly.
    • Push the clips into place securely.
