Timing Belt Drive Pulley Replacement
- Remove the timing belt (see TIMING BELT INSPECTION ).
- Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor A/B (see CKP SENSOR REPLACEMENT ).
- Remove the timing belt drive pulley (A) and key (B).
- Inspect the timing belt pulley and key for damage. If it is cracked or damaged, replace the timing belt drive pulley.
- Install the new timing belt drive pulley.
- Install the CKP sensor A/B (see CKP SENSOR REPLACEMENT ).
- Install the timing belt (see TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT ).
- Do the CKP pattern clear/CKP pattern learn procedure (see CKP PATTERN CLEAR/CKP PATTERN LEARN ).
